Kris Bortz, RVT

Kris is a 4th generation Colorado native, who after working for BCBS for 24 years, thought it was time to go back to school and chase a childhood dream. She graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in December 2018 and became a Certified Vet Tech in March of 2019. Her job is her passion and it can be seen in the care she shows her patients!

In her spare time, she enjoys camping with her husband and their daughter, crafty things and photography. Her family wouldn’t be complete without their 3-legged dog, a crested gecko, a red-eared slider turtle, a corn snake and a pet rat.
